Fried fish head noodle or fish head noodles soup are famous in Penang. You can get this food at hawker centre or coffee shop.
When you walk around Weld Quay, you may see there are a few coffee shop selling Fish Head Bee Hoon (Rice vermicelli).The Village coffee shop is one of the popular shop. It is always crowded during lunch time and dinner time.
This shop already 6 years. Beside the fish head, there are others ingredients to choose, such as fresh fish fillet, fried fish fillet, minced port meat, meat ball, fish ball, fried bean curd sheet, frog, mushroom etc. The price is from Rm4.5 to RM15.
There are two type of soup, the clear soup is good for everyone, the Tom Yam soup is very spicy, if you love spicy you may try it.
The fried fish fillet is most popular because the fish is very crispy. Normally the chef will put the fried fish fillet on top of noodle unless you ask them to separate it. If you prefer dry and crispy fried fish fillet, you better tell them to separate it when you order the food.
