Upon arrival at Penang International Airport, as you exit the Arrival Hall, there are 3 lanes. The first one nearest the Exit is for Airport Taxis to pick up passengers, the second one is for private cars to pick up passengers and the third, the furthest lane from the Exit, is for buses. There is a bus stand there and a table with Rapid Transit staff to assist passengers who wish to take buses to their destinations.
For our guests to 1926 Heritage Hotel, you can take two buses, Bus 401 to Weld Quay and 401E to Komtar Bus Terminal. These buses operate from 5.30 a.m. to 11.30 p.m. On the way down to Georgetown, they stop at Sungei Nibong Bus Terminal to pick up passengers. So for our guests arriving from mainland by buses, you can board these 2 buses upon arrival at Sg. Nibong Bus Terminal.
Please make sure you have enough small change before getting on the buses, tell the bus driver where you are going, and then drop your fare into the box.
When you get down at either Weld Quay or Komtar Bus Terminal, please refer to our Article By Bus from Weld Quay to Komtar Bus Terminal to 1926 Heritage Hotel, Penang dated 8th November 2012 for further information on how to get to our hotel.
