Armenian Street is the most iconic street in George Town. There are a few museum, street art, heritage kongsi or clan house, art & craft shop, local product shop and so on.Armenian Street got its name from the early Armenian merchants who settled here. But it has two Chinese name, in between of Pitt Street and Acheen Street, in Hokkian named Pak Thang- A Kay (打铜仔街). Between Beach Street and Pitt Street , Hokkian name is Pun Thau Kong Hang （本头公巷）.
Pak Thang- A Kay have Teochew Puppet & Opera, Sun Yat-sen Museum Penang, Islamic Museum, Yap Temple, art gallery and restaurant.On the other side of the street, Pun Thau Kong Hang is more famous because of the street art, including “Little Children on Bicycle” by Ernest Zacharevis, 101 Kittens, learn Hokkian mural etc.
